“I See You Watching Me While I’m Watching You”by Forget the G
This project “I See You Watching Me While I’m Watching You” is a collaboration with Macau/HK based musicians to design their music CD sleeve cover and promotional poster. Working off the abstract concept employed by their music to represent urbanization, isolation, predicament in the limited space and environment, and personal mental status, the design utilizes photography with repetitive cropped images from different angles to depict unavoidable dilemmas that being kept and repeatable overtimes without escaping. The poster itself is played with their lyrics in Chinese segments being overlaid with each other to highlight the results of oppression to the point that it is all blurred and unidentified.
