This is a collaborative publication and visual design project developed with artists and writers. Focused on consistent layout systems, production coordination, and visual storytelling across print formats.

The artist's book is treated as part of the object and artwork, mirroring and responding to the visual artist's concept of installation at the exhibition, the environment, the site, the book title, and the poetry of two female poets.

It also opens up free visual interpretation from a graphic design perspective, allowing experimentation with form, format, color, graphic components and elements, and the final representation, extending the possibilities of elements being held/contained across different media, spaces/platforms.

There are three parts to the book that create the feel of small, silky smoke rising from the thick, heavy ashes beneath the burning. The middle part of the book seeks to convey the poetry's words and feelings, and the artist's images, floating together in the spaces between.

You can sense it when you flip the pages and move your eyes page by page. The work can be seen as a collective dialogue among the artist, designer, and poet, presented as a book and carried around during or after the exhibition, as it is and continues to transcend the concept of the artist initially.

There'll be 250 free copies of the books available for collection during the exhibition, and attendees can carry them as they walk through the work. Or they can take it home to refresh or recreate the afterimage formed after reviewing the exhibition. The impact of visual reading will continue once they leave the site. It is also a gesture of love and care between family and the art community.

This project is a collaboration with Twin Cities-based visual artist Charles Matson Lume and writer Andy Sturdevant to design an artist book. 


Building on the methods employed by the artist and writer, the design utilizes art documentation (of exhibitions and in-process studio work), site documentation, travel imagery, material studies, and book-specific interactivity. 


This results in an artist's book that is more than a monograph or catalog but instead&#38;nbsp;a work of art, complete with various kinds of folding, cutting, and material choices. The book is limited to 100 copies. In addition to the&#38;nbsp;artist book design, I&#38;nbsp;designed the exhibition promotional materials, including posters and outdoor banners.

#Web Design (with Adobe Flash)#Art Direction#Logo DesignThis project is the online exhibition preview platform for artists Fiona Burke and Mazia Rossi. It is a digital offline E-catalog for an exhibition at David Dale Gallery &#38;amp; Studio.
The task was to reproduce the sense of moving through the exhibition while simultaneously providing information about the artwork and curatorial direction. To achieve this level of immersion and knowledge, I stitched together digital images to create a 360-degree view of the entire space. 
In addition to space, I&#38;nbsp;stitched hi-res images of sculptural objects to provide&#38;nbsp;detail not achievable with a single image and to avoid the immersion issues of&#38;nbsp;multiple thumbnail images.

It is curated by visual artist Darren Tesar, hosted at n/a gallery, and organized by Song-Yun Kim.This poster can also be used as a flyer to be folded and distributed as part of exhibition promotional materials, as well as an exhibition catalog, with an image index on the back&#38;nbsp;that the public can use to locate and look up exhibited artists' works.This project is a collaboration with curators, writers, and production partners; it incorporated feedback and met fixed deadlines.Selected graphic design and publication work featured in the AIGA Minnesota Design Show. Projects demonstrate strong layout systems, visual hierarchy, and brand‑aligned communication for public‑facing audiences.

#Poster Design#Photography#Art Direction#Flyer Design #Outdoor Banner #Artist ProjectThis project was held in collaboration with Korean photographer and artist Song-Yun Kim, who served as the organizer and host, to present Darren Tesar's solo exhibition in Seoul. 
The key element of the visual design is derived from the artist's concept and parts of the&#38;nbsp;exhibition installation.
The idea of the series of postcards being spread around in the space with the artist's facial profile is to respond to the artist's intentions about how a Westerner is situated in the East in public, with the closest eye contact, in a way that is close to being individual, without any makeup in&#38;nbsp;reality. I took a series of photographs of the artist and designed the flyer layout.

The aim was to promote the opportunity to develop a fully paid-for exhibition with the Art Store. Eligibility was open only to the students at The Glasgow School of Art. Working with the curator and with the winning students, I attempted a direct visual translation based on the notions of their site-specific installation, which could be moved, altered, transformed, and redirected by the viewers.
