This project, “I See You Watching Me While I’m Watching You,” is a collaboration with Macau/HK-based musicians to design their music CD sleeve cover and promotional poster.

Working off the abstract concept their music employs to represent urbanization, isolation, predicament in limited space and environment, and personal mental state, the design uses photography, with repetitive, cropped images from different angles, to depict unavoidable dilemmas that are perpetuated over time without escape.

The poster itself plays with its lyrics, with Chinese segments overlaid on one another to highlight the results of oppression, to the point that it is all blurred and indistinct.
