Simply Cafe is a successful coffeehouse and eatery in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin. Until 2015, Simply Cafe operated without a consistent, professionally developed visual identity. I redesigned the logo, menu, and website. My intention was to bring a level of deliberateness and sophistication while maintaining visual cohesion with the historical iconography already present in the surrounding area. In 2017, the client asked me to redesign the series of websites and the menu layout, along with the logo, which had been in place since 2015, to fit a contemporary context and possibly attract more of the younger generation, both locals and travelers.
